A Letter From Annamarie Sloss

Annamarie Sloss with husband David Brody Dear Prospective Resident and Family,

Thank you for your interest in NorthCountry Manor!  We understand how challenging and difficult it can be when changes start to occur with the aging process.  We all want to maintain our independence and function and find it almost incomprehensible to think we eventually might need assistance with the normal, everyday tasks of life.  We spend our entire lives taking care of ourselves and others and cannot imagine giving up the life that has defined us.

We believe at NorthCountry Manor, we have the most logical “next best” option for those individuals who need assistance and want the comfort of a home.  Our unique approach allows us to provide our seniors with “a sense of the familiar” as our care and attention is similar to that of a family home.  It is the philosophy of NorthCountry Manor to allow our residents to “age in place.”   This means that we do all we can to keep our residents from having to make another difficult move. Based on individual resident care needs, we work with families and community resources to provide this continuum of care.

Whether you are interested in a Short Term Respite Stay or considering a long term Residency, we look forward to talking with you about the many ways that we can help.

Annamarie Sloss RN,   Administrator
